CINEMA (Colorado Innovators of New Entertainment, Media, and Arts) Day at the State Capitol, Feb. 8

Soon, a new film incentive bill will be introduced to the state legislature. For this proposed bill to have any chance in getting passed the year we need your support and active involvement. This bill will put Colorado film, television and media back to work.

The current bill is very modest in terms of the overall state budget, but will have a dynamic effect on our industry and the film, television and media jobs (this includes commercials and gaming) being produced in the state. In addition to increasing opportunities for SAG members, this type of production positively impacts hotels, restaurants, caterers, equipment rentals and many other support services. And, they add visibility to our state's image, helping tourism as well.

Take a few hours and join fellow SAG members, industry professionals, bill sponsors and other state legislators at the Capitol on February 8.
