Thursday, February 9 - All paid-up SAG and AFTRA members in good standing are urged to attend an important educational/informational meeting in Los Angeles to learn the facts and impact of the merger. On January 27 and 28, the national boards of SAG and AFTRA overwhelmingly approved the merger agreement to form one union. Now the decision is in your hands. Monday, February 13-April 13 – SAG Tax Assistance Program (SAG-TAP), with generous support from the SAG Foundation, provides a members-only program offering tax assistance specifically for actors. SAG-TAP has a Packet available in PDF format, via email, that may be helpful to the member in putting together and organizing one’s tax return. A limited number of consultation appointments are available. To request the Packet or an appointment, email your request to SAGTAP@sag.org.
